British Invasion!

Yes, the red coats are coming!  Okay, so maybe that's not quite it.  The British Invasion musically was not so threatening and brought to our shores a great new way of looking at rock 'n' roll.  In the quirky Oracle fashion British Psychedelic music is explored along with surrounding areas in the UK including a selection from some of her colonies such as South Africa, Australia and Canada (with the exception of a couple of sneaky devils from the USA that crept into my playlist-long story, best not to ask).  Well, technically the USA did a stint as a colony...so there!  Download, tune in & turn on by clicking here:  http://cjamlog3.cjam.ca/test-program-guid/

It's Jammy Time!

It's that time of year folks to show your love to CJAM and it's programmers.  Got a show you just love?  Oracle perhaps?  Hint, hint...then the time to vote is now!  Here's the link to get you started:  http://jammies.cjam.ca/index.php?sid=15639&lang=en

P.S Oracle is nominated in two spots, so read the ballot carefully.  Oracle can be found under the heading "Best Folk/Roots/World show" and Oracle (Renee) for "Best On-Air Personality".

The results will be announced in early April, so technically the clock is ticking away....so go on and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE...

Thanks to all for your faithful listenership since Oracle's humble beginnings in September of 2010.  It's still a great joy to put on a show each and every week.  It's like a great listening party that I put on for my friends and even if you don't vote for Oracle in particular, I would like to take this time to just thank you in general for your support of CJAM's programmes.  Freedom of speech and true music variety are alive and well in Windsor/Detroit thanks to you.  Don't forget the role you play, it's a big one.
